The SMASH Youth Project (Swindon Mentoring And Self Help) Youth Development Worker – Temporary Maternity Leave Cover Salary £26,954 pro-rata, 21 Hours per week, duration September 2008 to March 2009. In addition to concentrating on developmental work within the Project, the worker will have a responsibility to supervise volunteer mentors, help organise group activities and contribute to the volunteer mentoring training programme. Some evening work will be involved. As the Project is youth focussed, applicants for the post will have a youth work qualification, experience in youth work and supervising paid or voluntary youth workers.
