Swindon Strategic Partnership - Overview & Monitoring Group (SSPOMG) - Geographical Cluster Reps Many thanks to the people who applied to be geographical reps for the above group during our recruitment drive earlier this year. Four people have been appointed so far and we are asking for further nominations for reps for the following areas: · North Central (Gorsehill/Pinehurst/Penhill/Western) · North (Abbey Meads/Blunsdon/Haydon Wick/Moredon) · South (Old Town & Lawn/Ridgeway/Wroughton & Chiseldon) Main duties include : · Be the voice' of your community through challenging ideas, bringing innovative thinking to the table and being part of the decision making process for the Council and its partners. See the bigger picture and be a sounding board for new ways of working together with partners, stakeholders, groups and residents. · Promote effective lines of communication across your relevant networks and encourage two-way conversations between your groups and the Council and its partners. · You will be required to attend meetings of the Group (4 per year).
