gives
voice and support to voluntary and community organisations.
Office of the Third Sector
leads
work across government to support the environment for a thriving third
sector (voluntary and community groups, social enterprises, charities,
cooperatives and mutuals), enabling the sector to campaign for change,
deliver public services, promote social enterprise and strengthen
communities.
Out of the Can
provides
support and a safe, fun, friendly meeting place for lesbian, gay,
bisexual and transgender (LBGT) young people and those that are unsure
about their sexuality aged 14 and over.

a
freelance management consultant and trainer working exclusively in the
voluntary/not-for-profit sector. Her main specialisms are

Swindon Federation of Community
Organisations (SFCO)
Originally set up with the support of the National Federation of
Community Organisations, now Community Matters, the SFCO operated as the
local arm of the NFCO.
Swindon Ileostomy Association
The
primary aim of the group is to support and help ostomy and pouch
patients, and their families, return to a full and active life following
radical bowel surgery.
Swindon Local Area Agreement/Swindon Strategic Partnership
Marking
a radical change in central and local relations, Swindon's Local Area
Agreement (LAA) will bring public sector, local business and not for
profit organisations together to deliver 19 priorities.
Swindon Primary Care Trust
is an
independent body within the NHS family. Our job is to provide and plan
health services for the 198,000 people who live in the Borough of
Swindon and in Shrivenham.
