Voluntary Action Swindon has the Funder Finder software available for use in the office, this is free to use and is available to all Voluntary & Community Organisations.
We also distribute a Funding Bulletin via email on a monthly basis. If you wish to receive this bulletin please contact David Sudworth ( david@vas-swindon.org)

£100,000 offered in Community Grants to groups in Swindon.
As part of Connecting People Connecting Places, the Swindon Borough Council is offering grants to deliver the following: Meaningful engagement with people and communities; Delivering public services through volunteers; and Building on a sense of community. Three information sessions are being held, so please attend to learn how to play your part and to receive funds.
January 12th-Broadgreen Community Centre (Salisbury Street)
January 13th - LINK Centre meeting room (West Swindon District Centre)
January 19th - Nythe Community Centre (Chalford Avenue)

Acevo & DTA

Acevo and the DTA have launched 4 new briefings commissioned by the Finance Hub on Successful Procurement & Negotiation in the Third Sector. The outcomes from this project will be of particular interest to:

Third Sector Organisations, in learning to manage these processes third sector organisations can benefit from growing and diversifying their income revenue.
Funding bodies, by enhancing their skills in procurement and negotiation funding bodies will learn how to work with the third sector in delivering first rate services.

The 4 briefings are:
1. Tendering and Bidding Briefing: Give your tender a winning chance
2. Impact Briefing: Putting impact at the heart of the tendering process
3. Negotiation Briefing: Effective negotiating to secure better outcomes
4. VAT Briefing: VAT made simple when working in partnership
