Funding Advice
The aim of the Funding Advice Service is to provide an efficient and effective personal
service giving information, advice and guidance to help groups access the resources they
require, linked to rigorous but supportive needs assessments.
The service is available to all voluntary and community groups in Swindon. Priority will
be given to small groups and those serving socially excluded communities.

Acevo and the DTA have launched 4 new briefings commissioned by the
Finance Hub on Successful Procurement & Negotiation in the Third Sector.
The outcomes from this project will be of particular interest to:

Organisations,
in
learning to manage these processes third sector organisations can
benefit from growing and diversifying their income revenue.
- Funding bodies, by
enhancing their skills in procurement and negotiation funding bodies

Public
Contract Opportunities – A New Approach
Routes to contracting with the public
sector for small businesses and third sector organisations. This
programme of Events is planned to take place during June 2008.
The Aim of the Workshops is
to provide
an overview of public sector procurement processes, training in
tendering procedures and to increase the awareness of third sector
organisations and SMEs so that they are in a better position to respond
